In order to benefit more citizens from different districts by non-profit Chinese medicine services, Yan Oi Tong has considered to set up Chinese Medicine Mobile Clinics in 2003. It is the first Chinese Medicine Clinics Service in Hong Kong. The service has grown rapidly from initial 3 vehicles to 21 vehicles in just 14 years. Now it becomes the biggest Chinese Medicine Vehicle Service team in Hong Kong.

Yan Oi Tong’s Chinese Medicine Mobile Clinics has a total of 80 service locations, covering Hong Kong Island, Kowloon and the New Territories. We provide Chinese Medicine service for Hong Kong citizens from all districts. Some of the service locations have even extended the evening outpatient service hours.
Value drug safety
In order to facilitate the elderly and office workers, Chinese Medicine Granules (Non-decocted Chinese medicines) dispensing service will be provided on our vehicles. In addition, we has specifically selected the Chinese Medicine Granules suppliers assigned by the Hospital Authority to ensure the effectiveness, stability and safety of the Chinese medicines. The medicines provided by these suppliers also complied with the international GMP pharmaceutical standard of heavy metals, microbiological content and Pharm/Tox. In this case, citizens can take their test-proved medicines at ease.

We have added five Integrated Medicine Vehicles which provide Chinese General Medicine, Acupuncture and massage services in order to meet the needs of patients. We provide services in a “one-stop” concept which combine Chinese General Medicine and medical practice to be the pioneer in the field of integrated mobile medical services in Hong Kong.
The first to introduce electrical equipment in Hong KongIn order to enhance the comprehensiveness and efficiency of our treatment, Integrated Medicine Vehicles are equipped with electric nursing beds, electrical wheelchair stair lifts, sinks and car roof awnings. The vehicles are also equipped with alternators and can be connected to external power supplies to reduce environmental pollution.

Yan Oi Tong is committed to provide quality Chinese Medicine services. In response to the inpatients’ demand on Chinese Medicine services, we have launched the Chinese Medicine Outreach Acupuncture Service in 2008. Chinese Medicine cure sickness with rigorous treatment plans, which is more effective than Western Medicine in certain diseases. For example, Acupuncture is proven to have actual efficacy while treating early-stage stroke patients. Our Chinese Medicine services are recognised by the Hospital Authority. Also, we are entrusted by Tuen Mun Hospital to oversee their Acupuncture clinic and assist the rehabilitation of inpatients.
