Introduction to Training Services
Yan Oi Tong Training Services and Project Development Division is responsible for coordinating and organizing employee re-training, skills upgrading, professional training and interest courses. In addition, it also provides other project services. Three units are responsible for operation:
1. Yan Oi Tong Jockey Club Training Center (known as "Yan Oi Tong Training and Employment Services")
The "Employee Retraining Board (ERB)" course is offered, and tuition is free for the unemployed. Among them, the "employment-linked" courses will provide a three-month employment follow-up service. In addition, in order to meet the future development of the labor market, the unit launched the "Yan Oi Tong Skills Level-up Service" in October 2021, providing a number of short-term courses for those who intend to improve their personal skills, covering a wide range and closely following the market, adhering to "Yan Oi Tong Training and Employment Services" has many years of experience in operating training courses, and continues to help Hong Kong citizens to increase their self-improvement.
2. Yan Oi Tong YES Training Institute
It has been established in 2011 for 10 years, and has developed four major service areas: professional training courses, youth career planning, corporate training, and elderly service training. It is committed to providing appropriate and professional training for the community to improve Employment competitiveness, and open up their life-long learning opportunities.
3. Sham Shui Po District Council Mei Foo Neighbourhood Activity Centre
Located in Mei Foo Sun Chuen, Kowloon, it began operations in May 2018. It is one of the key community projects planned by Yan Oi Tong, Sham Shui Po District Council and Home Affairs Department. It mainly provides residents in Sham Shui Po District with diversified activities such as "recreation, culture, and art" to unite residents in the district. The center has a multi-purpose activity room, a housekeeping room, a piano room, a dance studio, and an outdoor activity venue. It can hold a variety of interest classes, workshops and activities to enrich the community life of residents.
